Vehicle History: I bought this car, along with a very rough 73 that came for free (HLS30-145666, 1/73 build), from a junk yard in 2008 with plans to get it back on the road. Has been in various storage since 1986 or 87. I moved out of the area and never got around to it. Pulled it back out of the barn this weekend and now need to make a decision on whether to repair it and drive it or send it on to the next owner.

Vehicle History: I am the second owner. Car bought in So Cal then moved to Las Vegas. I bought it 40+ years ago as a beater to my other car. Now I need a beater for my former beater. I live in Las Vegas but my car has been in Arizona over a year while they “work” on it. It’s at Sakura garage in Tempe Arizona. No access to the car. It has Sparco seats, Sparco 5-point restraints, Kirk competition roll cage, and Momo D shaped steering wheel. The original L24 engine is in a crate and L28 swap near completion. It has a 5 speed transmission. Dash courtesy of Just Dashes. Paint by Ernesto’s Paint and body Las Vegas NV. Airbrush art and pin-striping by Shaun Ealy Designs (SED) Henderson, NV.

This 240Z was crashed and totaled.

Original Body Paint Code/Color: 905/Monte Carlo Red
Original Interior Color: Black
Current Location (City, State, Country): Cape Elizabeth, ME, USA
Date Registered: 11/21/2015
Original Factory/Dealer Options: It has slotted mags but I Don’t know if it was delivered that way. It also had A/C at one time.
Vehicle History: Not much provenance here. It had a Georgia state inspection sticker from 78 as I recall. Somewhere it picked up a different engine. It does have some frame work done to the right frame rail that I should have a pro assess for rigidity. The previous owner did the doglegs and some other rust repair in metal he said. When he went to repaint it he ordered red for a 71 240Z. (Car was originally registered as a 71) Because of that, it was repainted in Persimmon instead of 905 Red for a 70 model. I bought it in Minneapolis, MN in 89 (I think) for $3500. I’ve done some mechanical and suspension refreshing. I’ve driven it some but it always had needs to make it right. I brought it to Maine and have not run it in more than 6 years. It could use at least grand in parts to make stuff work right. When I’ve had the time I didn’t have the money. I do now have a good place to work on and store it now so it has that going for it. I plan to keep it mostly stock with a few mild period mods that would be reversible.
